Timetables

School timetable software. Fewer teacher clashes.

Build class timetables around existing subject-teacher assignments. SkoolDrive’s teacher scheduling workflow helps administrators check clashes, arrange parallel lessons and keep the timetable current without choosing from unrelated teacher lists.

The everyday challenge

A tidy grid can still hide a clash.

The challenge is not drawing periods. It is keeping teachers, class assignments, breaks and parallel subjects consistent. Timetable setup should use the information the school has already entered.

A clear way through

Here’s how it works.

  1. 01

    Prepare periods and assignments

Set teaching periods and breaks, then confirm which teacher handles each subject in each class. For primary classes, use the supported class-teacher subject-assignment setup.

  2. 02

    Place lessons with context

Choose a subject for the class and use its assigned teacher. Review conflict feedback before applying a lesson. Label parallel groups clearly when subjects run in the same period.

  3. 03

    Keep the schedule current

Review copied lessons against the destination class’s assignments and update changes promptly. Optional lesson reminders depend on the configured schedule, school timezone and recorded closures.

Built around your work

Science and Arts can share a period—not a teacher.

Parallel lessons support cases such as Physics and Government running at the same time for different groups in one class. Give each lesson a distinct group label and verify each teacher’s availability.

  • Multiple labelled lessons within a period
  • Teacher clash checks still matter
  • Group labels do not automatically assign student membership

The details matter

Assisted scheduling, with the administrator in control.

Use existing assignments and copy tools to reduce repetitive work. Your administrator stays in control of the weekly arrangement, with teacher conflict checks to support a schedule the school can actually follow.

  • Class-specific subject assignment context
  • Reusable timetable operations
  • Optional reminders with configured lead times

A little more clarity

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Have a school-specific requirement?

Talk to our team
Does it automatically generate the entire school timetable?

No. The current workflow assists manual scheduling with class-subject teacher selection, copy operations and conflict checks.

Can two subjects run in one period?

Yes, as clearly labelled parallel lessons, such as Science and Arts. Ensure different groups and appropriate teacher availability.

Will teachers receive a reminder before every lesson?

Reminders are configurable rather than assumed. Their operation depends on settings, the timetable, timezone and entered closures; exact notification delivery is not guaranteed.
